New All-Way Stop at Canyon Maple & Winding Meadows

Starting Monday, September 7, new traffic safety measures will take effect at the intersection of Canyon Maple and Winding Meadows in Tradition 2B. Please review the planned updates below and exercise extra caution while drivers adapt to the updated traffic patterns.

Summary of Changes

  • New All-Way Stop: High-visibility LED stop signs will be installed to convert the intersection into an all-way stop.

  • Removal of Pedestrian Beacons: The existing pedestrian flashing beacons will be removed, as the new all-way stop provides full-time traffic control for pedestrian safety.

  • Advance Warning Signage: Permanent advance warning signs will be installed on both approaches of Winding Meadows to alert oncoming drivers before they reach the intersection.

  • Temporary Transition Flags: Bright safety flags will be attached to all newly installed signs for approximately 30 days to maximize driver awareness during the adjustment period.
